DLSU-D Researchers sign contracts for ASEANO research projects

Researchers from De La Salle University- Dasmariñas signed three research projects funded by the ASEAN-Norwegian Cooperation Project on local capacity building for reducing plastic pollution in the ASEAN region (ASEANO) through the Partnership in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) at the University Research Office, October 20, 2020.

The researchers, who came from different departments of the university, will engage in various multi-disciplinary research studies that will investigate the different aspects related to the plastic pollution in Imus River after the contracts were signed. The said projects received the approval of ASEANO for funding after a competitive selection of research proposals participated in by various higher education institutions in the country. The selection included site visits in the campus to check its capacity to conduct the research with resources such as laboratories.

The following are the research projects and their corresponding proponents:
